War Machine

I got a new friend today, he came in the mail all wrapped in bubble wrap.  It was the awesomely big kind too that you can pop with one hand.  Like you take a big handful and it pops really loud.  Guinness didn't like it.  I chased her around with it for a bit... she liked that though.  Dope.  Anywho, here's my new friend.

Jim Rhodes says hi.

Hi Rhodey.

Here's Rhodey's important packaging.  Apparently the 'stealth operations suit' was only available at Wal-mart.  Our Wal-mart sucks.  They only had Titanium Man... who wasn't even in the movie, and Iron Monger.  I might get an Iron Monger evantually, but... Rhodey first.  Many people have been questioning why they don't just call him um War Machine... and why it's the 'stealth operations suit' which on the back still says is piloted by James Rhodes.  Whatever.  It's War Machine.

War Machine looking cool and standing on top of my really big stuffed horse.  Because my desk is a mess.

And War Machine ready for action!  The um 'blasts' that shoot out of the two cannons on his shoulders look like flaming que-tips.  They really do.

Anyway, then Rhodey went about meeting a few of my other guys (some of which was for height ratio).  I didn't want to get them all out because... there are a lot.  (some of these pictures turned out bad too.  oops).

Rhodey didn't find Tony's "cool sword test" to be either a. cool or b. necessary, but when he voiced his opinion he was only met with "shut up and let Aragorn hit you!"

Obi-Wan was a lot nicer.  Not to mention shorter.  Rhodey was amused to find someone shorter than Tony.  Anyway, Obi-Wan also answered a lot of questions about his lightsabre, which Rhodey was very curious about.  (they're standing on my notebook... oh, and you can see my London tube map in the background)

Trip tried to make friends with Rhodey (which he kept referring to as 'first contact', which confused Rhodey), but...

But um, Trip fell and took Rhodey out too.  Oops.

He was also mildly suspicious of my Batman bandaid, and he gave me a look for it.

But then he found this.  "Where's War Machine?" he inquired, and then pouted a little.

Then the screensaver came on and drew his attention, and he stood there for awhile contemplating where he'd seen those flying toasters before...
