The smoke is almost gone today. I can see the sky for the first time since last sunday.
Yeah, ok, so in the winter during our rainy season, we'll go a week straight or more with clouds and rain. But with the clouds, you can see them. You can see when it's overcast because the clouds are distinctive. The smoke, it was just sort of a blur and it looked like a giant nothing above us. Then if the sun did manage to shine through, for one we couldn't see it, and secondly, it was this unnerving yellow/orange color.
But I can only vaguely smell it today, and I can see the sky. So it's getting better, thank God.
