Guinness had her first tick. My mom said she felt it the day before yesterday and thought it was a scab or something, so I started trying to find it when I felt it and told her it was a tick. We used to get ticks on us all the time out in the woods growing up. We're all still alive. But they're no fun to find... ick.

Oh dear gods do NOT get a beagle puppy! (I have one!) They are completely untrainable and they eat EVERYTHING..... *Is frazzled by her hyper puppy)

Well, see, I had a lab puppy. He ate a tree and a rose bush, and many books, a chair...lots of food he wasn't supposed to. My aunt has a golden retriever, and she is horrible because the family doesn't discipline her regularly. Yeah beagles are hyper, but so are labs, and training mostly is about being consistant with the dog. I'm sure when I get this dog, he'll chew some things, and he'll be naughty, but that's a puppy, and I know how to deal with that now.

Hun, i'm talking about serious training here! The people at the training school said that Beagles are near impossible to train and even our VET said that they're near impossible to train. Honestly hun, re think it!!!

Well it's weird because you know, that's the first time I've ever heard that. I've met very well trained beagles before, I still think they're wonderful dogs. So I still plan to get one.

Wait! Your ticks actually have stuff over there. I forget about that. Okay, so that's a little more understandable. Ours over here just basically suck blood, they don't carry anything.

You guys have Lyme disease and rabies and crap over there. Bleeeh.

BEAGLE PUPPY! OMG! LIKE PORTHOS! BUT YOUR OWN! That will be so cool if you actually get hypothetical Sam! D'aw.... :3

Yeah, our ticks don't carry rabies, that's animal bites, but...they're nasty. They suck blood and have bad dieases, and if the head comes off when you're trying to get it out, the venom occasionally causes paralysis...and the bite can get infected and that's bad too. Ticks are just all around bad stuff.

But yes, PUPPY!! Someday I'll have my Sammy :D

*huggles poor gin-gin* How she doin' now? I wonder... I think my Nonnies dog has a tick because that got me thinking and yeah... Hmm... never seen one before so... but still sounds gross... and I'm rambling so by... I just wanted to say poor gin-gin and pet her and bug you so yeah.
