I sort of vaguely feel better today. My throat is killing me though. It's not swollen, I don't think (self-diagonsis here) that it's tonsilitis. I hope it's not strep, but it doesn't look like that either. It just hurts.

10 Writerly Things About Myself
1. With my original stories, the characters come first. I come up with some idea for them, and then the plot/situation stems off of that.
2. I always write to music, usually soundtracks. John Williams :D
3. For school papers & essays, I never revise. I know, that sounds horrible, but I take several days to write them, never the night before, and so I sort of revise as I go. Because by the time I'm done, I'm done and I don't want to deal with it anymore.
4. My characters have theme songs. Since the Facility is the most recent update, Eric's theme song(s) include Remedy and Truth by Seether. (because he's angsty)
5. I have no set rule about titles, but usually if I wait to title it, it sucks. If I title it early in the beginning, it's good.
6. I don't like most of my stories. I think it's like listening to a recording of yourself, most people don't like to hear it. I always think that my stuff could be better than it is, but I'm too lazy to change it.
7. While a lot of teachers pound into our heads not coming out with a set plot and letting the thing flow, that doesn't always work for me. If I don't have a set direction, I get ADD and lost. Thus, the Facility for example, each chapter I know where I'm going, if I get there a different way, or not at all, whatever, but it allows me to have some set goal for what I want to expose or display.
8. I can write just about anywhere, except while watching TV.
9. I have a shareware character. His name is Fren. He's a Jedi Healer. He appeared in stories other than mine first before I ever used him, and I'm pretty amused.
10. I never write sex scenes. Sometimes there might be a need for it, but it's not like we don't know what's going on and would need a vivid description. I don't write romance, so... it's normally not important to the storyline.
