double iScream

Saturday, first of all.. the clueless princess was at work.  That was ugh.  Then we actually got set up early.  And we actually got DONE early.  And there was lasagna, which is awesome.  And Marlene the cook got mad at the annoying dishwasher that doesn't shut up.  There was much rejoicing.  Didn't shut him up for long though unfortunately.  I was, however, brutually attacked in the freezer but a tub of ice cream.  See...there are lots of them.  And always, the one you want, is on the very bottom of the insteady stack because some of them don't have lids, so they stack them slightly off center so they don't fall in...um yeah, smart.  The entire stack fell and hit my leg, I screamed non-G-rated words in the freezer and hopped around a little bit.  Then more stuff fell.  But not on me.  I ended up spending like ten minutes in there without a coat or gloves because they don't have either of those like most places with a big freezer.  My hands and my leg hurt so bad.  Um, the bruise is huge, and it still hurts.

Secondly, I meant to update Frozen today but...I only got a paragraph and a half written.
sparowe I am using your idea :D, similiarly, but not exact.  Still...teh angst.  I do have an essay to do this week, shouldn't take incredibly long, I'm just lazy and don't want to do it, so I'm hoping by the end of the week, Frozen will be updated.  I'll work on it when I'm stuck at the Butt(e) main campus.

My poor ipod, iScream, was de-skinned today.  I was taking the iTrip out of it and the blue skin just came off.  It was all stretched out and stuff, which I kind of knew.  But it was just funny.  So now iScream is green.  Good thing I had extras.  They're those cool silicon skins that are all soft and smooth.  Fun times.

Last night, and.. well, tonight a big too... I went downstairs to put a cup or ice cream bowl in the sink, and I looked in the family room, expecting to see Shadow watching me, but...he wasn't there.  I hope I haven't subconsciously fooled myself into thinking that "it's ok, he'll actually be back soon", because that's just going to cause more problems down the road.  It seems weird to say that the loss of a dog causes so much pain.  It shows you how much Big D meant to all of us.  My mom doesn't want to listen to our traditional Christmas CD, It's Christmas Time Charlie Brown, because we always associated the Snoopy theme with Shadow.  I don't want to stop everything because it reminds us of him, because we should remember him.  Like in Return of the King, when Merry doesn't want to smoke his pipe because of the memory (omitting for spoilers) and Aragorn tells him to indeed smoke his pipe, that he might remember the one who was lost in battle.
