Update from helljob
As I had my notice letter all typed up and printed off, and I came into work and talked to Cuddy and Lisa (..remember, they're two different people for me), and everything. Cuddy says that Keith wants to talk to me. Big red panic light lit. Keith is like.. Vogler. He's even got that sort of..niceness...that can turn into false niceness really quickly.
Anyway, I went to find *cough* Vogler, and he has me meet with him in the deli, which is empty. We sat down and he said it was brought to his attention that I was concerned about the lack of staff, and that they are in the process of hiring new people, and that he's going to give me a raise starting now of $7.50 an hour, and then at my evaluation, I'll get another raise. He said that he talked to Kathleen (oh man do I have stories about her...), and she agreed that I'm a good worker and they don't want to loose me or anything.
I feel oddly like I've been paid off. It's almost like.. dirty money or something. I dunno...weird. But I didn't quit, I'm going to stay on for awhile. Evatunally, I will move on to bigger and better things though.
I was going to say something else, but I forgot what. I saw a license plate that the first four symbols were "4MAN". That wasn't it though. Oh well, maybe I'll think of it later.
