Donnie was the only one left. Max was gone, so was Lennie.. Phil was around, but not much. Now Caro was gone too. But Donnie was always there. It seemed funny to Mike, considering how much Donnie always ragged on him about making him go crazy in the head when they were at the 2-7. Now he was the only one that would call, just to check up on things. Don Cragen was his voice of reason, he looked out for Mike like he was still one of his own. And in many ways, he still was, because Mike was the only one left too.

"Ooooh...shiny..." Lewis Riley grinned, holding the object up to the light, oblivious to all else but the way even the dim lamp of the garage glinted off the surface, causing rays of light to dance wildly around the walls of the garage and the walls of his mind.
Her partner was the distracted one, always wandering off or playing with random things on his desk when he was supposed to be working, but Alex found that sometimes for her, a distraction was a good thing, especially when things were as bad as they were.
McCoy drummed his fingers on his polished wooden desk - he swore if Logan came around one more time, he would seriously regret it.

Mike stopped writing and sat up, irritatedly pushing down on his desk to intentionally make it wobble. Every time he moved, it moved. It made it very difficult to get any work done there. He smirked...maybe that was a good excuse. The only desk in the room that wobbled and was behind a pillar, belong to him, the cop "salvaged" from Satan's Island. He sighed a little and sat back, pushing the desk again. A small smile crept over his face as a thought came to him. It was, after all, his own desk in Major Case. He grinned and leaned back in his chair, putting his hands behind his head. And, on top of that, it was the most unique.

It was funny for a grown man to own a stuffed animal, let alone a stuffed hamster - but it was even funnier that the grown man was asleep on the couch with both the live and stuffed animal hamsters on his chest.
White was a color Alex had never really had an opinion on until she had spent time confined to the sterile white walls of a hospital, but after the scrap of the curtain, she was glad to have the walls again.
The last thing Mike wanted to hear after a long day at work, were the half-decent sounds of the subway musicians - but even they were better than Subway Chick at least.
Just two for right now, I haven't forgotten the rest, I swear :D I just don't want to get started and then interrupted by work. Doesn't do well for my creative process.
