I'm so sick of hearing about the stupid American Pie Band Camp crap. I'm so sick of every time I mention that I was in band, that someone makes a stupid "one time at band camp" reference. That really pisses me off. They make all of these wonderful dramatic movies about sports teams, what about bands? The band I was in in high school went through ten times the crap that any of the sports teams went through. We worked out butts off with less than half of the funding they got, and way less of the good supplies and instruments - if we had them at all. Our bandroom was a third of the cafateria that had a temporary wall put up. We had to compete with the "dance class" who would frequently get mad at us because we were too loud while trying to rehease for a concert when they never actually had any performances outside of the class, and then refused to turn down their music. So yeah, let's rag on bands. That sounds like fun. I've never been to bandcamp, by the way, my school didn't have the funding for it and due to the band conductor lottery they put us through, Holmes was still trying to get established in the high school from teaching at a jr. high in the three years I had him again. This stupid movie, don't they have anything else better to do? Can't they actually make a movie that's worth watching instead of pointless crap? From a band student to the makers of ALL of the American Pie movies, I have two words: Screw. You.
