Had the day off Friday so I could go to a CPR training seminar in preparation for my job at the Museum of Flight. That lasted from 8am to 2pm and included oodles of badly acted training videos. Some of the videos included a CPR dummy with some of the most erect nipples I've ever seen. They were poking right through the t-shirt it had on. Is it really necessary to give CPR dummies nipples? I ended up abuzz with raw sketch comedy fodder from that whole experience.

I tried to go out that night, but exhaustion and a dirth of food in my tummy caused me to get tanked off of 2 pints of beer, so I staggered home and passed out by 11.

Saturday I went to the mall with Tawnya. I had Orange Julius for the first time in ages... sooo tasty! There was a teenage kid in Hot Topic trying to convince his poor dad to buy him bondage pants. The father clearly just wanted out of the store and away from all the freaks.

That evening, I went to karaoke at the Rickshaw with Tawnya and some of her friends. I got to witness Tawnya getting tanked and then listing which parts of her body had gone numb and in which order. All in all, it was a rollicking good time and I got up to sing 3 times and we were still out of there by 12:30.

Sunday I did some light cleaning of my kitchen. Then went to a graduation party for the UW museology program and got to meet some of the students who are leaving as well as those who will be in their second year next year. I also met the director of the program who was very drunk and wouldn't stop vigorously shaking my hand. I should have told him, "They shake fine on their own, thank you." After the party, I watched the 1996 version of Humanoid from the Deep starring Robert Carradine and the kid who played Christian in Clueless. I highly entertaining B-grade splatterfest.

Then, that night, I went to the Century Ballroom for swing dancing. I realized I am really rusty but also remembered how much I enjoyed it. I'm going again on Thursday and plan to make it in time for the lesson before the dance floor opens.
