HELP
Alright, I have no idea if any of you can help me with this, but if not I'd really appreciate it if you could suggest someone/some site that could.
MY PROBLEM:
I ripped a DVD to my computer. I isolated the section I wanted and managed to convert it to .avi. I even managed to cut it down to (almost) just the bits I want. Now, I want to turn that .avi into a .gif. I tried multiple converter programs (.avi to .gif, various image editors), but for all of them, when I open the .avi in the program, I get no image, only sound if I'm lucky. The clips play fine in multiple other programs (namely Windows Media Player). Anyone have any ideas? I've spent two days on this and am unbelievably frustrated.
Ideas? Suggestions where to post this to get help? I'm desperate for this to work already.
