“Hey... Mike, can I have a quick word?” Andrew asked the following Monday at lunch. “Alone... it's important.” Michael nodded, kissed Alex on the forehead and jumped up from the grass. Jason chuckled; he was a lot happier now that he had Alex in his life. “Wont be a minute.” Andrew says awkwardly before pulling Michael away.
“Dude, what's the drama?” Michael asks more then a little confused.
“I think I like Jason!” Andrew said in a quick rush. Michael frowned, told Andrew to repeat what he said only slower and less high pitched and then his mouth fell open at what he heard. “I... We kissed.”
“What when?” Michael asks, not caring that his own voice is now high too.
“When we were at yours... when you and Alex were having sex.”
“We didn't...”
“I got a little scared at the film and closed my eyes... cause I didn't have anyone to have sex with...”
“Could have had it with Jay...”
“And then he had his arm around me and Bam! He just kissed me, but then he pulled away like nothing had even happened.”
“Did you kiss back?” Michael asks, not knowing what to say.
“I... Yeah... I think so. It didn't last very long and I got all nervous.” Andrew mumbles looking at the floor.
“Did you like him before the kiss?”
“I don't know... Sometimes I think I did.... others... I just can't stop thinking about him.” Andrew sighs.
“You should tell him.” Michael says confidently. “Or at least ask him what went down with that kiss.”
“So I should talk to him about this?” Andrew sighs. “Yeah... come on lets go back to your man.” Michael grins, wraps an arm around Andrew's shoulder and walks back over to their spot.
Alex and Jason are laughing about something and they look up and smile. “Everything okay?” Jason asks Andrew who nods his head quickly. Michael sits back down beside Alex and they get back into their position of touching each other as much as they can without being dirty.
“So what was so funny?” Michael asks, which causes Alex and Jason to share an amused look and start laughing again.
“Lex was just doing some dancing sitting down.” Jason chuckles. Alex grins and giggles into Michael's neck.
“Dancing hey?” Michael laughs. “What kind of dancing?”
“Sexy dancing.” Jason says and winks at Alex who laughs loudly.
“Oh really?” Michael grins. “Do i get to see this sexy dancing?”
“Maybe later. If you're a good boy.” Alex winks and then blushes when he realises what he had just said. Andrew laughs, as does Jason, Mike just greens and presses a kiss against Alex's cheek.

The day goes by slowly and it feels like five hours had dragged by when Michael finally got out of history. He had spent an hour and a half being tormented by Nicholas. He felt angry and betrayed. He had thought that he had buried his feelings about Nick away but bringing them up with Alex had brought them all up again. He smiled when he saw Alex leaning against his locker, all thoughts of Nicholas and how much of a git he was fled from his mind.
“Hey you.” Michael smiled.
“Hey yourself.” Alex grinned. “Fancy coming to mine tonight? My mums home.”
“You should spend some time with her.” Michael smiles.
“Want to spend time with you too.” Alex pouts. “Come on. The thought of you at home on your own makes me sad. Please come to mine.”
“Do I get to see some sexy dancing?” Michael winks.
“Is that a yes?” Alex grins.
“Fine. It's a yes.” Michael chuckles. Alex grins and pulls him in for a quick kiss, both blushing when they see a few girls smiling at them. Michael takes Alex's hand and they walk out of school.

Michael couldn't remember the last time he had sat and had a proper family meal. Though it was just the three of them it still felt like a huge family dinner, despite the fact that Alex's mom had ordered from the local pizza place. They spoke about everything, from school to television, from friends to family. Michael couldn't help but slip easily in the conversation and whenever Alex would smile at him from across the table he felt as though he fit in. That he was part of the family.
“Dinner was lovely.” Michael smiles.
“You're welcome to come round any time.” Alex's mom smiles. “Alex told me about your parents, I'm so sorry.”
“It's okay.” Michael says chewing his lip.
“You ever want a place to stay, you're more then welcome to stay here.” She smiles. “You make Alex happy.”
“Mom!” Alex cringed. Michael looked over at Alex who was blushing furiously.
“It's my job to embarrass you.” She chuckles.
“Alex makes me happy to. You have an amazing son.” She smiles at Michael who is now blushing too.
“You guys are going to make me barf.” Alex groans. He grabs Michael's hands and they head up to Alex's room.
“So I really make you happy?” Michael grins pulling Alex into his arms and kissing him softly.
“Mm.” Alex sighs happily. “Very happy.”
“I'm glad.” Michael says and kisses him again, this time a little deeper and more passionate.
