Title: Fresh Prince
Pairing: Alex/Michael
Summary:  Michael thinks that there are good ways to wake up; and waking up to his boyfriend rapping the theme tune to Fresh Prince is definitely one of them. 
A/N: Written for the Honor Society Prompt Table... Just a short little drabble...


Fresh Prince

Michael woke up to the sound of singing. Well... he thought it was singing. It sounded more like someone speaking fast to a beat; rapping. He got up gingerly. It was early; not even six AM yet. He frowned when he realised that his bed was empty... no Alex. He walked towards the bedroom door before grabbing his robe, the morning air cold on his naked skin. As he walked through the house the sound that had woken him previously became louder and he could no make out that it was Alex's voice. He smiled as he stood in the door way to the living room.

Alex was sat curled up in a blanket in front of the television, a bowl of lucky charms in his lap, spoon half way from the bowl and half way to his mouth... he had an adorable smile on his face. Michael watched as the credits; and Alex's singing finished. He couldn't help but chuckle at the satisfied smile Alex wore when he finished the intro to the theme tune of the Fresh Prince...

“You're adorable, you know that?” Michael startled Alex who looked up at his boyfriend and grinned sheepishly.

“Did I wake you?” Alex asks, worrying his bottom lip between his teeth.

“No.” Michael lies. “What were you doing up early?”

“I was hungry.” Alex shrugs. “Then couldn't go back to sleep.” Michael smiles. “Are you sure I didn't wake you?”

“You didn't.” Michael grins. “So... do you mind if I join you?”

“Hmm... let me think...” Alex pats the floor beside him and Michael heads over there quickly. “I think you can join me.” Alex hands Michael the rather large bowl of cereal who takes it with a smile.

Alex leans against his boyfriend and watch their favourite comedy show. Michael thinks that there are good ways to wake up; and waking up to his boyfriend rapping the theme tune to Fresh Prince is definitely one of them.
