Skool is Kool
Well, it's that time of the year! Back to school. Hooooray!
Actually, it has been pretty good so far, with a couple of setbacks.
The lounge seems to be in a better state than it has been in a long time; the addition of Trivy certainly helps.
TC3 didn't renew Aramark's contract, which gave us crappy food at high prices. The new company, America somethingorother has better food at cheaper prices. Plus cake! The other day I had a killer sandwich with corned beef, lots of cheese and russian dressing, etc.
There is so much construction going on around the school that so much actually seems new, and a bit refreshing. This, plus the fact that so many faces around the school are new, considering this is my third year here. Everybody seems so young now. Tim, Joe and Jebbit still kill my record, though.
I was a bit worried about my Philosophy class because it is rather long (just under three hours), and it doesn't leave a lot of time to head towards the bus; but, the professor I have is pretty awesome and the class is mostly based around the presentation of a point and arguement (by a student) and the discussion of such in class.
On the shitty side, I can't get my books until Tuesday because my deferral hasn't gone through and I am flat broke. Not too big of a deal.
Also, Angela went to back to Owego for another dentist appointment crap. Plz Hry Back, K? <3
Funny thing in my State and Local Govt class:
The professor was asking a couple of students what they did over the summer. One (from the Bronx) said 'Sold Rocks'. The professor asked where. He simply said 'Around the Block.' Someone else asked 'Like pet rocks?'
I don't think so, friend.
