At 'home' in Ithaca, spending a few days here in relaxation and fun. I would normally come here on my own accord during the semester, but with Angela here everything is great and things don't bother me so much. We went out and got some subs at Jimmy John's (as usual- we are loyalists) and did some good walking around Ithaca. The weather was beautiful yesterday.

My family is moving at the end of February into a house on South Hill; although it isn't in sight of the commons as I am now, it is still a great location. And it isn't as small as this place is. Angela and I walked up last night to check it out, and it certainly has character. It is one of few houses in the area completely surrounded by trees, so there will be a ton of privacy in the summer. What I really loved was the backyard. We walked around back into what I thought was the yard: a small, unimpressive dirt lot. That is until I realized that was just the driveway/parking area. The actual thing is huge for its location, and set back pretty deep; it also has a fucking beautiful view of the city. I can't wait to sit out on a warm, long summer night with Angela, overlooking the lights of Ithaca below us.

Afterwards we did some more walking downtown. We sat together as someone played a smooth melody on a commons stoop. Others walked by, but it seemed as if he played only for us. Later we grabbed some food, went back to my room and relaxed while watching a movie together. Good times.
