well the first of 4 national tournaments are over.
Overall, the turnout wasnt all that bad.
We got knocked out in the quarter finals for the last tournament for the mullet hunters in Bantam (16u).
It was fun while it lasted.
Oh, yea, in the last game i got blasted in the face with a puck right below my left eye... 5 more stitches for me. They come out on friday. I have pics on my phone if you want to see em.
For Midgets (18u), the Black Bears made it all the way to the semis, only to get knocked out by TMD 87.
Best wishes go out to Marky, who sprained his ankle against my team in our first meeting.
Oh, and way to go J-Me-C on rupturing that kids spleen.
In Juniors (21u) we got second place, which is way better than I thought we would do.
Nice job Two Men and a Truck.
All in all, not bad.
Leave for Florida on Monday... this one is gonna be ugly.
Then from there its off to New Orleans.
Playin 20u and 16u there.
Then come home, get Jill and its off to Chicago.
