Delightful story! :) Your use of detail made the crossover seem quite realistic, and I love that Merlin's got Arthur's back, always. <3

It's great to see that you're getting your feet wet over at Comment_Fic!

thank you! i must say I had a lot of fun with the prompt, i'm quite taken with comment_fic, i've been trying to get the archives of the prompts to load without much luck though to see if there's other stuff that takes my fancy

now if only my tw100 drabble would step into line! the countrycide cannibals are refusing to play ball with me :(

Cannibals + holiday food prompt = great idea!

It just figures those cannibals aren't being very cooperative. Is the drabble running too long? I'd be happy to take a look at it if you need help making those painful cuts.

Painful cuts? There's probably a cannibal joke in there somewhere...

eta I've had a devil of a time trying to find old prompts at Comment_Fic as well. The archive of lonely prompts is not at all intuitive to use. They could really use Ianto in there to fix it up!

it's not so much the length of a written drabble as i know what i'm aiming for, but i'm struggling with how to get one of the team there to partake. i considered victorian jack meeting them, getting eaten and drinking himself to death so he forget they ever existed, but that is way over 100vwords :(
it would be easier if i could get away with them capturing a random person, not a torchwood operative

i'm not the most christmassy of people, most of my ideas involve someone being eaten for christmas lol

I love the Victoran Jack vs. the cannibals idea, especially if it didn't end well. That could explain why he went completely bonkers shooting them all when he stormed in to rescue the team! I can see how that would be difficult to properly set the scene in 100 words, though. That might well be worth a longer fic.

Being eaten for Christmas--a new holiday tradition! :D
