"A sentient watermelon? Seriously?" smirked Owen.
Jack nodded, glaring at his fingernails. "Seems it wasn't a fruit slicer we found," he muttered.
Owen sniggered to himself.
Toshiko moved forward, scanner directing her to a large barn. "In here, Jack."
They moved forward, Toshiko in the lead, gun ready. After all. who knew what a suddenly sentient and walking fruit would do with it's life. Tosh yanked opened the small side door, Jack covering her. She looked in.
"Uh, any special features to the watermelon?" she asked.
"It's just a damn watermelon, round. Hard. Green!"
"Just… it's a watermelon farm, Sir!"

Ianto knew Jack loved swimming, as he planned their date, the first since Jack returned, he booked them into a hotel with a pool. Meal, drinks by the pool then a swim - clothes optional!

The meal went great. Ianto lead Jack out to the pool, this would be a good night. Suddenly Jack froze, eyes fixed on the still, cool water.
"No! Please no! don't drown me again!" Jack screamed, falling to his knees. He was rocking back and forwards, sobbing, clinging to Ianto.
Ianto closed his eyes "Oh, God Jack, what did they do while you were away?"

"He made a giant fish bowl that went over my head," sobbed Jack.
Ianto rubbed Jack's back as he hiccupped. He knew this was something Jack needed to get out.
"W…When I was near death," continued Jack brokenly, "he'd drain the bowl, let me start to get my breath then go again. He'd do it for hours, it was worse than dying, at least that gave me a bit of a break. I gave up on getting out, deep down, I'd goad him into killing me, just for that pain free break. He rarely did, the Master was too smart."
