Music+Car=~-Depression
I'll leave the math majors to figure that one out...prize, mom's baking:D
Well, I am back in one of my slumps again. though, i am not that concerned only because my depression goes in cycles and i am no stranger to slumps. so barring some horrible news, i should be out of it soon.
Anyways, this slump got me thinking as I was driving to pick Jav up to go to the Mellor's. I realized how much the radio just doesn't cut it to help eleviate that which ailes me during a slump. In fact, it never really did all that much, unless The now deceased Zone was having a good day. The thinking got me to wanting to listen to my somewhat vast music collection, which has all the music that has ever helped me. And when one surefire cd doesn't do the trick, there are many more to pick up the slack.
Ok, to the point. This want for my cd collection got me to realize what i really want for my b-day, a car cd-player. This really would be a helper for my, but unfortunately someone told my father last year that an aftermarket cd-player is an overly large drain on a car battery (or so he claims). So, my parents, despite their wisdom, are in techno-paranoia phase and will guilt me anytime i bring up the c-p. Argh, the one thing i want for my b-day won't happen:(. So, I guess what I really want is for someone to convince my parents otherwise...lol.
