High time for an update
Well, as I prep my computer and myself to try something I have never tried before I realize that I forgot to update after the weekend. So here it goes.
This weekend was a rather needed 3-day vacation. What twas this vacation? Well, none-other than going to Iowa to celebrate my grandma's 90th birthday. Twas a very joyous and happy occasion. On friday my family and I arrived in Ottumwa and checked in the the hotel. From there we enjoyed a nice little b-bq with what of the Pitzen clan had arrived that day (I swear my burger was still mooing). After a great meal, everyone gathered around My uncle's tv with grandma and watched a dvd of 8-mm film my uncle had transfered. I must say twas rather enjoyable watching film of how my uncles and mom lived as kids. Saturday was a 7:30 am tee time with my uncles (Yes, I actually was up before 11 for once. *gasp*). We played match play-best ball lie. Was much fun and the first time I ever golfed a full 18. As a highlight I did a donut and a few fishtails in the cart thanks to the other night's rain. After the rain settled around 2 pm, the family saddled up and headed to my Uncle Dick's farm for some good ole trap shootin. I must say I have gotten the knack with a 12-gauge and am almost as good with that as I am with a rifle. I also discovered your aim gets a bit better after a few. The night was capped with a great steak dinner and some fireworks at the farm. It was great to be with the family again and to see my grandma for her b-day.
As for the prepping. Well, this saturday I plan to set up a dual-boot system with two hard-drives (one os one utilities). I must say I am excited
