Now moving on...
Just some updates:
1.) Tis be in a better mood today. I have calmed down a bit and feel better. While I agree the normally even-tempered fun loving capt is more desirable, he is one that needs to fly off the rocker every so often because it can be too much fun:D. Let's face it, the capt. is one who likes change and gets bored and irritable if things stay the same for too long. Hence he is one that goes through many mood swings. Throw in a struggle with quitting smoking and you have a destablized, normally even tempered person. Oh well, tis life and tis something that will slowly rectify as time goes on.
2.) I know have a computer monitor that doesn't hurt my eyes. What can I say, I am a computer nerd. The monitor is a frickin sweet truflat CRT by Envision, and to top it off I got a great deal at Fry's. Holy shit that place is frickin nerd heaven and frickin huge. I never thought a place devoted to all things geek could ever exist like it. And the prices are awesome too boot. And the checkout, frickin lockdown. If you have ever seen a movie in a casino vault, or seen a casino vault in real life, think that and then turn it into a checkout for an electronics store. Oh shit, tangent, i'm back to normal:D Anyways, now that my computer is complete (aside from a new keyboard and some tweaking here and ther) I can finally go back to being a gaming nerd and enjoy every minute of it.
3.) I am trying to get on the build team for the new Super Target that is being built a block from my target. Basically, I'll be aiding in the construction of the new fixtures and gondalas for the new store. What this means: 1.) guareenteed shifts and hours, 2.) temporary raise (rumor) 3.) valuable experience 4.) break from guests (customers) and backroom responsibilities. #4 is the main reason because I am feeling a bit burned out from being one of 3 people that actually do any work in the stockroom.
