You people have far too many holidays.

Though I must admit, I'm pretty fond of Valentine's.

I haven't seen you around a lot lately, are you doing okay?

Do you still want to know what happened whilst I was gone?

I know I said to wait till we got home, but I've already told an old friend of mine, so it only seems fair I should offer ( Read more... )

It's supposed to be a feast day for St. Valentine.

Now it's really just an excuse for romance and sex.

I'm all for holidays, but it seems that my world's are not celebrated in most people's. It was my first Halloween, Christmas, Thanksgiving. I have yet to see people mentioning Tanabata or Hanabi.

Oh, I've nothing against them. It's just how many they have. As soon as one's finished, everyone starts talking about the next one.

I've not heard of either of those. How do you usually celebrate them?

[OOC: oops, misspelled hanami D:]

Well, Hanami is the beginning of spring. In both the mortal realm and the celestial plain of my universe, cherry trees grow abundant. We celebrate it under these trees just the day they bloom, drinking alcohol and having fun with friends.

Tanabata is a summer festival. The reasons and ways to celebrate it differ from town to town.

((I knew that word looked familiar! XD))

Hanami definitely sounds like my kind of holiday.
