1/6 x 1 + (23/47) = pudding?

So, this morning I was still in a funk about the whole misspent, wasted adulthood thing, and thought maybe I oughta take the assessment test, which is the first thing to do to start colleging. But, naw, my parents are coming back today, and I have to go over there to get the key to the safe deposit box so I can get my birth certificate so I can get this life-sucking office job that starts Monday. And I don't know when they'll be in and call, so I should wait around for that. I can do the test Friday.
Then I thought, it's only 10:30 AM. If I take the test now there'll be plenty of time for that and a nap. So, I put on pants, brushed my hair, and after telling a sleep-cranky Kat what I was doing, I left. I went to Paradise Valley Community College and took part of the assessment test at 11 AM. It's a three hour test, and Kat wanted the car back by noon to go out with friends (she went out at 4 PM.) But you can take the test in parts, so I got the hard one out of the way and took the math test. As expected, it showed that it is a miracle of God with help from Jesus, Mary, Joseph, and Buddha that I even have the mathematical skills to just count my toes. The spring '09 catalogue comes out this week, and I'll sign up for the basic math class. I'd like to get the rotten parts of this schooling out of the way. I'll see if they have an online math class. This way mathemagician Mena can sign in and do all my math classes for me. Unless she wants those pictures to get out. I'm sure I'll be calling her a lot for this math stuff.
Maybe while I'm feeling old, trying to catch up while I get older, I might feel a little better that I'm at least doing something about it besides splicing back together old Brandmeier shows and watching Addams Family DVDs.
Maybe it'll all work out. Rodney Dangerfield didn't make it till his late 40s. Lewis Black till his early '50s. George W. didn't stumble out of his drunken fog and do something with his life until he was in his 40s.
Great...I'm looking to Bush as inspiration. I really have hit rock bottom, haven't I?
