GET ME SYNDICATED, DAMMIT!!

I found a away to get my toon in with a syndicate, sorta. uComics.com, they rerun Bloom County and Calvin & Hobbes, and they run a big pile of new strips, too (Boondocks, Doonesbury, Foxtrot...) they have something called Comics Sherpa where undiscovered cartoonists can set up their webpage. It’s run by a big eastern syndicate, ya know (Universal Press.) Lots of exposure. Much better than my little Yahoo! site. Syndicates don’t go looking around Yahoo! for strips.
Well, I went right away to that sumbitch to set up a Loon News:The Comic Strip! page.Small problem, though. It’s $60 for 6 months, $100 for a year. I’d pay that, but I have -$6.75 in extra cash. Spent too much on Christmas already. Damn.
You can find a better description at http://www.comicssherpa.com/site/home.html
I checked out a few strips there. Jeezum crow, people sketch out something almost resembling a human, put a word bubble over it and they think they’re Charles freakin’ Schulz! Mother of God, I say this without being full of myself, but my strip is VASTLY superior to the 7 I checked out (before my damn computer locked up.) Oh, man it’s soooooo much better. Infinitely superior in writing, lettering, and drawing. I gotta set up an LN:TCS! page there. And soon! Sooner I get syndicated, sooner I can pass out new houses and vaginas. (Little in-joke there. I’m not gonna be one of those pimp-master cartoonists. Unless I’m whoring the strip for multi-million dollar advertising deals.) Strips are rated by readers, which I’m sure attracts the attention of Universal.
I’d be quite grateful to anyone who wants to just hand over the money to set up the page...
