Before I start on my rant...let me say these few things. If you think NASCAR is just going in circles, you are ignorant. Say what you will...I don't care and if its stupid, I'll delete it.
I realized today how much of an inspiration Dale Earnhardt (of all people I know) was to me. He is the personification of the "American Dream". He is proof that through hard work and dedication, regardless of where you live and what you have, that you can do anything. He is promise for anyone of any age that staying true to yourself and the people that care about you pays off. For a while I've denied my liking of NASCAR - I've denied telling people that Dale Earnhardt was one of my heroes, on par if not more so than Hulk Hogan *snickering*... He is what many people dream for... From the dirtiest rags to the biggest riches and the status of an icon, his name is as immortal as Babe Ruth or Michael Jordan. Many people are probably wondering where I am going with this...
I'm going somewhere better...that's where I am going. I'm never going to give up or give in. I'm ready to do what I've been told is "too late" to do. I want to change the world for the better. I just want to try my hardest.
