If Murderface sees him as an emotionless machine, it would just aggravate him not to react; bend a little, the manager thinks, show the consequences of broken trust... Ofdensen watches the way his pupils dilate, the way his arms fold defensively over his chest; these are the cues he's been looking for. Those are the walls he has to break down.

Skwisgaar's eyes widened. "You sucks Nat'an's dick?"
"What? No! I mean, I don't think so..." The redhead gave Skwisgaar a confused sort of look. "That's, uh... I mean, I don't think I did, but I'm jest tryin' ta make sure."
The Swede didn't look convinced. "Dat's uh... you knows, pretties... homo-erotics, dere, Pickle. If you t'ink maybes you does dat."

"We're not close enough," Nathan growled, looking over the huge expanse of people that was the Wacken music festival. And without Ofdensen there to explain that getting any closer would give them away and start riots, Nathan was left to stew and mumble and bitch about the situation.

Good Reasons to Freeze to Death

They’re forced to share a room at every hotel. Toki is always there-opening the curtains, machine-gunning through the channels, ripping pages out of the bible, closing the curtains, chewing on the complementary coffee grinds. And talking. He’s fascinated by everything. It’s as though he’d been on societal lockdown until the age of 23.
