Season 5 Is A No-Go
On Febrauary 3, 2015, Metalocalypse creator and Dethklok frontman Brendon Small appeared on The Pointless Podcast live on Twitch.tv.
Among an array of topics such as interesting tour bus drivers, Small gave a little insight into the future of the most brutal cartoon in existence.
"Let’s see if I can say this without saying too much," he said. Small revealed that he had "a small piece of the story that [he] was interested in telling. One way or another [he] was going to do it." So far, Adult Swim, the network that hosts Metalocalypse, hasn’t given a definite answer on greenlighting a new season or special to follow up Doomstar Requiem: A Klok Opera.
Small said on the podcast that he is “in the early stages” of making feature-length material to wrap up Metalocalypse
