I only got to four then I had to go to work. Also, 'Spiriti' is only 1:28. Didn't realize that until I was writing.
A Place for Hell (Paddy and the Rats)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sAyEiOjue6Y Pickles was pretty musically talented. He could play the drums, the guitar, and do his own recording and editting. Only a very few people knew he could play the penny whistle. Sometimes when all the blackness and brutality got to be too much for him, he'd take a cooler of beer out into the woods of Mordland, light a bonfire, and play his whistle. He'd never live it down if anyone saw him dancing around the woods like an idiot, but at least he could claim he was behaving like a proper filthy pagan.
Spiriti (Mediaeval Baebes)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2r7sVtwAa_c The Black Church knew how to create an atmosphere. Charles stood before the dark altar, listening to a lone woman chant in latin. A veritable choir stood along the walls, whispering an answering chant. In the middle of this wall of song, Charles waited.
May the Living Be Dead in our Wake (Flogging Molly)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NIjmRzfnfIA Maybe Pickles should start an Irish punk band. He didn't think he could stop playing music entirely, but he was tired of being metal an brutal all the time. Irish punk gave you the option of drinking yourself in to a sobbing lump and it being okay, because it was a very Irish thing to do. As the drummer ran like hell from the fire that was consuming the stage and the audience, he reflected that he really could do with a little more happiness in his life. Of course, whoever decided that the Irish were a lucky race was either delusional or fucking cruel.
Porn Star Dancing (My Darkest Days)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c2Fnet0y9Ts Skwisgaar had a head for figures. He was always calculating something; the trill of notes on his guitar or the mathematics of attraction. A ten would make you beg for every sexual thrill, but a four would do anything in bed. The burlesque dancer on stage was a solid five and had more control of her tassels than any woman the Swede had ever seen. Really, how did she get them spinning in opposite directions? As the music ended she walked down into the audience, eyed the band and passed Skwisgaar up. The world's fastest guitarist smiled. It was good to see women that were good at math.
