*waves* If this isn't allowed in any way, feel free to delete okay mods? As some of you may or may not know, a few of us are putting together a convention for next year that will celebrate both Metalocalypse and Venture Brothers together. The going is a bit slow since most of us have never really been on This Side of a convention and planning it, but here's the step we're on right now:
Finding People To Present Formal Programming. (And Informal programming, but that may or may not be a separate post.) What is formal programming? Well it is generally:
1: A presentation - One person gets up and talks about a subject and everyone else plays with laser pens listens.
2: A panel- Usually a Q&A involving a specific number of topics.
3: Round Table- A group discussion about cool things!
4: Workshop- Some gets up and teaches us their wisdom about making a craft or baking something or just generally being a Boss.
Possible formal programming ideas:
- uhhhhhhhh, recording room?
Yeah, most of us are stumped. Got any idea you guys?
Also, if you have an idea but don't think you can make it to the con, that's cool. One of us might just adopt it AND it would be much appreciated if you wanna just ask around and gather a person or two who would be able to make it up to Massachusetts.
