Guitar Hero Groupie

Skwisgaar downed the rest of his drink and strapped it on. It was a video game about playing guitar; he should be a whiz at it. Several minutes later, however, Skwisgaar came to the startling conclusion that playing Guitar Hero was nothing like playing a real guitar.

We talked about stuff after that. You thought it was cool that I played bass. You thought it was really cool that I liked AC/DC. I told you your hair looked kind of metal, and you said you were growing it. We talked about Black Sabbath and Anthrax and how you wanted to be in the biggest band in the world. That night, drinking together in the car, that's when I decided I wanted to be in that band with you.

Snow Days Can be Brutal

"So... someone brought us snow? Last night?" People could do that, right?
Toki gave up trying to explain and simply led him to the closest window, where the singer shielded his eyes from the bright sunlight. Snow was everywhere, lots of it, as far as he could see. It looked really pretty, and was, therefore, not very brutal.

Skwisgaar kept watching as Nathan shoved Toki against the massive fridge, one meaty hand tangled in his hair. Not a gentle kiss, by far, but Toki wasn’t fighting him; he seemed to welcome the aggression. Even through closed doors, Skwisgaar could make out the hungry little growl Toki made as Nathan pressed closer, bringing their groins into contact. A sound that caused something to twist inside the Swede. A sick, familiar feeling.

"Please?" he begs me. It's the first time he's begged tonight, and I'm tempted to ensure it's not the last.
