Post Avengers [starktower, canon but not default
After the Battle of Manhattan Steve drove into sunset hoping to better reintroduce himself into the modern before returning to the the Avengers Initiative and moving into Stark Tower.
Feel My Heart Begin [agent_hill, Maria/Steve romance. Maria rescues Steve from a group of terrorists who have created a drug that can render Steve vulnerable as long as they continue steady doses. Steve eventually asks Maria out and after numerous dates he finally initiates physical contact after discussing sex with Thor. The two blossom from there filled with angst over Maria being his commanding officer and having to constantly send him into dangerous situations.
Sitcom Verse [ Steve Rogers is a very tidy lawyer who lives with Thor Odinson the Scandinavian prince who doesn't know how to manage money. The two live next door to Natasha, Jane and Darcy and have a landlord by the name of Fury who is always calling everyone motherfucker. They have a handyman by the name of Coulson and his roommate and pool guy Clint. There is a snazzy doctor one floor up by the name of Bruce. Fury now has his adopted niece Maria living with him and takes his orders from the apartment complex owners Tony and Pepper.
Star Spangled Spiderredinmyledger, Steve is the type of man that shouldn't be attracted to Natasha. He's too good, too pure as far as she's concerned and yet a mutual attraction has sparked between the two of them and he's slowly trying to woo the spy's heart through adorable and romantic acts. It all started with a dance in an elevator so there's no telling where it will end.

Ain't No Sunshineuser1, user2, user3 Steve didn't die in the plane crash. Howard didn't stop and was able to pull his body from the wreckage. Steve went on to live his life, but the serum stalled his aging. He was unable grow old with Peggy and Howard. He watched all the people he cared about the most wither and die. After Peggy went into the home and didn't remember him he left town. They promised to inform him if she ever had a lucid moment again. With Howard already dead from a car wreck Steve was forced to go out on his own. He grew cold and distant. He didn't want to get close to anyone for fear that he'd have to watch them die too. It's 2012 now and he's managed to turn himself into a hermit.
