trying new things
I am on my wife's brand new laptop in a waiting room... first time I've used one outside of work (where it was sitting on a desk and had a full keyboard and mouse attached).
It's like a cross between balancing a cake and giving a baby a kneepony ride. I am not comfortable and if I did this for any length of time I expect my arms and neck would seize up. I guess laptops may be yet another technology, like cellphones, iPods, wristwatches, and bidets I am simply too lumberingly Cro-Magnon for.
So, no real updates until I get some time at home!
That said, the laptop is just fine for passive surfing. Reading the news, watching horrible pet abuse, reading other people's LJs. Overall, the laptop gets thumbs up!
