New syndicated feed:
http://syndicated.livejournal.com/whatwentwrong7/profileThis is
vivian_shaw's brand new blog about life's endless litany of disasters. No, not like you taking a drink of curdled milk from the carton, more like Chernobyl blowing up.
Formerly created syndicated feed I forgot about because it updates infrequently:
http://syndicated.livejournal.com/ballastexistenz/profileThis is an eloquent, thoughtful blog "by a self-advocate who has participated in several aspects of the disability rights movement including autistic liberation, psychiatric survivor, mainstream disability rights, and developmental disability self-advocacy". I was recently introduced to it via
mightydoll.
By the way, anyone can easily create a syndicated feed on LJ to read content from other sites as part of one's LJ friendlist. I recommend it highly. All you folk planning to migrate to Dreamwidth for example -- set up your own feeds and let those whom you leave behind know how to access them? Because no way in hell am I logging in anywhere else to follow your adventures, no matter how fascinating. (If you are especially fascinating and especially lazy, I will go ahead and create a feed for you, but note that means I get to name it). The steps to create a feed: locate the source's RSS button/page/whatever, copy the URL, and paste it at the bottom of this page:
http://www.livejournal.com/syn/. If it already exists, LJ will tell you; if it hasn't been set up yet, it will ask you to give it a name. If the name is already in use by an account or community on LJ, tough. Try adding _rss or _feed or something at the end.
