Now that I'm settled into the house....
although not unpacked totally, I've moved forward on trying in earnest to lose weight again. Part of this plan was to see a dr. on campus who is a native woman who specializes in weight loss, endocrinology, diabetes, diabetes in American Indians, etc. So great, she also works at the clinic I went to last year, which I stopped going to because it wasn't in my network. But, the U of M docs on campus are in my network (even though its the same person, just different location, hello insurance reform!!). I called today to get an appt. and I can't see her till JANUARY. Eff. I guess I'll go into my regular doc and see if she will work with me in the meantime.
