I fully admit
That when I saw this photo while cruising my lj (it was on obama_daily) on saturday, I lost it and started bawling. So, at this big summit, there's our President, a black man, with Evo Morales (who makes me cry sometimes anyway, just because), the Indigenous President of Boliva. It just gives me hope, and is sort of unbelievable to me. Sort of. I grew up always believing that people of color could be presidents, etc, but, to see it and to know that this isn't just a 'someday' thing, but a reality, it blows my mind a little. In a good way. So I cried, happy tears though. I did the same when I saw the photos of Pres. Morales' inauguration in Bolivia with all the Native folks there en masse to celebrate and be a part of the ceremony.
