You already know that Will is my favourite, but even if he hadn't been, I reckon he would have been now after the way you portrayed him in this chapter. Hee hee. Little Will is absolutely ADORABLE!!!!!!! I wanna take him home ;)
Poor Dean :( Firstly, because he must have had a heart attack when Will nearly got himself squished by a car and then this line: 'Dean felt really shitty about swatting Will on two occasions in the same day, fearing that the boy would now assosciate spending time with Daddy with getting his butt smacked' made my heart bleed :( I can imagine how hard it must have been for him not to see his children every single day :(

“Daddy`s mean!”.....this totally amused me and made me giggle. Hee hee hee.....

“Now, can you walk to the car, or does Daddy have to carry you?” Will reached up towards Dean with his small arms. “Carry,” he stated simply, sniffing hard, his blue eyes still brimming with tears....this was just AWWWWW!!!!!!

It was really interesting hearing more about Dean's and Melissa's relationship and I found it strangely reassuring that she wasn't such a cow from the start.

The image of Dean playing with princess dolls - GIGGLE SNORT LAUGH
Loved it....off to read the next chapter....

hehehe!! Aww :D Thank you!
It was so much fun to write little Will, I got a lot of inspiration from wee!Sammy (and your fics!) when I wrote this.
I was a bit stuck on this part, so I went and read two of your fics: Road Safety and Tantrums on the Road. Writing went much more smoothly after that, lol.

Your comment on Melissa amused me. I reckon she must have been a "better person" early on in her and Dean`s relationship, I mean... Dean must have loved her, they did live together for several years and had two children. Things just changed, I suppose, and when Dean left her, Melissa just turned.. bitter and cold towards him.

I had a great time picturing Dean sitting cross-legged in Dawn`s pink bedroom playing with her and her dolls. <3 hehehe! I figured he`d want to spend some one-on-one time with each of the kids, and since he`d already been at the playground with Will, it was now Dawn`s turn to bask in the light of her father`s attention. :)

I'm sure your writing smoothly had nothing to do with reading my fics. lol. I was actually thinking about those two stories along with A Winchester Christmas the other day,as I was trying to figure out which were my favourite stories that I'd written....and they won. Simply because I adore writing toddler Sammy! Hee hee. (Time Switch is my other favourite, but for a different reason. Which of your stories are your favourites, or do you like them all the same?

Yeah, I agree that Dean must have loved her at some point (otherwise she'd have been just a one night stand! Ha ha), because he did commit to her. I can imagine how hard it was for him to actually make the break though, knowing he'd see his babies less and lose out on their growing up :(

I disagree, I think it had everything to do with that, hehe.
My favourites of your stories are Road Safety (because it`s so cute and a rare, normal family moment for the Winchesters) and A Winchester Christmas (toddler SammY is LOVE!) The Church Picnic is really nice as well... hmm, well I do love all your stories, lol. Oh, and the one.. uh, the title escapes me at the moment, but the one where Sam and Dean are supposed to be sleeping, and John is trying to do research. I love that one so much! If I had to choose 1 favourite of your stories, it would probably be that one. (Aside from Candy Capers, naturally. Best. Story. EVER!) :D
As for my own stories.. *thinks*
Bringing Down the House and The Morning After are stories that I enjoy, mainly because of how funny (I think) they are. Blackout and Fears and Feelings (the Holiday Fic Exchange prompt fic) are also in my top favourites. Checkmate (the AU story with Mary that you requested) and Five Finger Discount are stories that I look back on fondly. :) Christmas at Bobby`s is nice too.
When Dad Came Home.. is probably the story I struggled hardest to write, and that I`m most proud of.
The Journal of Mary Winchester/Mary`s Diary - Really loved writing that.
Overall, I`d say my favourite stories of the ones I`ve written are Bedtime Battle, Go Ask Alice, At The Zoo, and Girls Just Want To Have Fun, because those are the stories I`ve had the most fun writing, and are stories I enjoy for very many different reasons. (and I`ve become extremly attatched to Sam`s daughters, hehe)
Wow your question really made me think - I had to go to the folder where I keep all my spn fanfics and browse through them... I`ve sure written my fair share! lol

Can I just ask.. which of my stories are your favourites? :D

Which of your stories are my favourites......now that is a difficult question, as I honestly love ALL of your stories! I had a good think and a flick through your journal to remind myself of all your fics. Hee hee. So here goes (in no particular order. lol)these are fics that I especially loved (many of them you will realise contain tiny Sammy. Hee hee: the one where little Sammy was supposed to be playing quietly, but didn't; the one where little Dean runs away from Mary in the supermarket and asks her to catch him (I remember John changed sam's dirty diaper. Hee hee); Checkmate has a special place in my heart too (loved the family relationships between the family members here); Dean's Day; Broken (I just love Will. Ha ha); the one where Emily stayed over at uncle Dean's and they played up in the supermarket and had a pillow fight; Someday at Christmas there'll be no tears (this was very emotive); Sam Winchester is not amused (felt so much for Sam in this); Fears and Feelings (wee Sam - awww); Dawn and Will at Uncle Sam's when they bake, Not little Boys Anymore (You wrote John spanking the adult boys brilliantly and I loved how it really came across that John cared about them, not about the bullet), Where do we go from here (was really emotive; Bedtime Battle (Litttle Alice is just so cute!; Remembering (or the title was something like that I think) where cute Alice fought her bedtime, but it was moving because Emily remembered their mom.......My list could actually go on for ever! lol.

You mentioned Candy Capers - I must admit that fic, along with Time Switch are the two fics of mine I'm most proud of. I'm proud of Time Switch for a boring reason (its so long. Hee hee), but Candy Capers was such a challenge for me to write as I was so desperate to do your fantastic characters justice and not to misrepresent or misinterpret them in any way, so when you liked it, it was the most rewarding thing ever :D Which of your fics are you most proud of?

Thank you! :)
You have every reason to be proud of Time Switch, and not just because it`s long! lol

Oh I LOVE Candy Capers. Love it! :D

Hmm.. When Dad Came Home is probably the one I`m most proud of because it was so hard and emotionally draining to write. In my personal opinion, it came out as a powerful story in the end.

Am I right in thinking 'When Dad Came Home' was the fic set after Sam ran away to Flagstaff and you had both Dean and Sam's point of view? If it's that one....then yeah, it was powerful, in fact, that would be an understatement - it literally smashed my heart to smithereens. I'm not surprised you're proud of it - you have every right to be! That fic hooked me right in and it had such an impact that I was left feeling really disturbed and heavy-hearted afterwards. It's a testament to your amazing writing ability that you can evoke such strong emotions in a reader. From a literary point of view, it was outstandingly brilliant, it's only not a favourite of mine, because as you know, I'm a sucker for happy endings. lol.
