update
so i applied for an editorial position with the united nations, and had my grammer/typing/text formatting test yesterday. it went well, except for a few dumb mistakes that i wanted to beat myself in the head for. i won't have the results for another week or so, so here's hoping! :)
tommy and i also found this great apartment in montclair, and we'll be moving at the end of august. it's closer to newark for him, and once i get a job in the city, it will be easier for me too (4 blocks to train station!) it's a corner unit on the third floor of an apartment building, and it's absolutely GORGEOUS. 1500 sq feet (almost twice the size of our current place!), two bedrooms, lots of windows and light, french doors leading into formal dining room. it's within walking distance of all my favorite montclair places (cafe eclectic, montclair used books (HUGE book store), etc.) so i'm quite excited. it will suck to be further away from family/friends, etc., but it's not that far away! oh yeah, and the price is JUST right, and extremely surprising for such a great place.
and harry potter comes out tonight!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
