Other people Ion happens to know from both Somarium and Auldrant are hanging around in beach-appropriate clothes, too, as though nothing is wrong

Alright, too, though Somarium seems to be a little more active than usual recently and I'm starting to wonder what's going on.

[Because there being a connection between events and holidays that don't exist in his world hasn't been considered yet.]

I'm not. My own world used both a completely different calendar system and dissimilar customs.

Ah. Well, around this time of year, there are a few celebrations. One of the more well-known ones is Christmas, in which people give their friends and family gifts.

[Not that Dominic really celebrates it much, seeing as how he doesn't have any of the above.]

Seeing as how we had one for Halloween, with the costumes, I wouldn't be surprised.
