Ever since one of my sweet, yet ugly sims fell for Brandi Broke in TS2 after his wife died, I've been fond of her. They were so cute, had 3 bolts for each other, and all that, and even though I had something totally different planned for each of them, I just had to let them be together. So they married, she and her boys moved in with him and his boy/girl twins, and then they went on to have several more kids together--ah, memories!
So when I found out her parents were living in Riverview, I couldn't resist recreating her in game with TS3....
The game starts them out as teens, and best friends--that's about to change! Bob Newbie invited Betty Simovitch over for a swim and....
....soon enough they had their first kiss and he asked her to be his girl--so sweet!
But after all that mushy crud, they got down to business and did their homework--with no help from me, lol.
Time passed and Bob grew into a young adult, I think he's a pretty decent looking sim.
His part-time job at the grocery store must have paid well, because he was able to buy this 2 bedroom, 2 bath home. It needs work, but don't all EAxis-made homes?
Of course, his first guest was a newly aged up Betty Simovitch!
Romantic interactions were a little tricky, because one of Betty's traits is "unflirty", which I'd never dealt with before. But Bob seemed to figure it out somehow.
Betty was stunned when he popped the question to her after dinner.
But she'd never been happier!
This is where they got married, its called St. Mary's and I got it at MTS. Its a beautfully detailed lot, I love it!
Betty kept stopping during the reception to admire her ring, it was too funny.
Bob looks a little tired, but he had a fun time dancing and socializing. Both sets of their parents came, but I wasn't able to get any pictures of them all together.
Of course we all knew that this was coming, even Bob could probably guess from looking at her talk bubble.....
...but it didn't stop him from being surprised when she told him about the baby--guys are so funny that way!
Betty immediately wished for a girl--I'm hoping for that too Betts. And Bob wished for a boy, I clicked on his wish too, just in case the first baby wasn't Brandi, at least that way, somebody would get some happy moodlets.
Betty had accidentally started a kitchen fire, and just after the firefighter left and everything was cleaned up, her water broke, its a busy day in Riverview.
Woot--success on the first try! Brandi Newbie is born, and I didn't even have Betty eat anything special to get a girl--honest!
Does it look to you like Bob is pouting because he didn't get his boy? Hmmm.
Betty gazes at her newborn daughter and wonders what life has in store for her.....so do I! I only kept her a baby for a short while, I just had to know what she was going to look like.
OK kids, buckle up, cuz next up is a picture of how Brandi looked just after she aged up, and I'm warning you now, its downright SCARY!
You have been warned!
Aaaaahhhhh! She looks like a small, bald version of her father---what have I done????
Well, she looks a bit better with a makeover I think, but I have to say again that I hope someday, someone will be able to make more hairs for the little ones--its sorely needed. So I automatically changed her hair to black, but it looks kinda weird since her parents both have light hair, so I may change that, I dunno.
Aw, I just knew that Bob didn't care about not getting his boy afterall.
Thanks for looking, next time I'll have pics of Brandi as she grows--it may be cute, it may be ugly--I don't know, but hopefully you have a strong stomach, just in case. ;)
