Miss You Kenny Ray...
My cousin Kenny passed away tuesday night.......
He was a good man.....and i miss him so much.
Kenneth Ray Collins, 46, Jonesville, Va.
JONESVILLE, Va. - Kenneth Ray Collins was born in Lee County on Wednesday, Aug. 17, 1949, and went to be with his Lord on Tuesday (Oct. 25, 2005) at the Johnson City Medical Center at the age of 46 years.
He was preceded in death by his father, Arnold Collins; his paternal grandparents, Newton and Nodie Collins; his maternal grandparents, George and Mary Sexton; one niece, Lawana Sue Collins; and one nephew, Jeremy Abraham Barber.
He was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are his mother, Anna Lee "Bea" Collins of Jonesville; three brothers, Willard Collins and wife Wanda Faye of Jonesville, Leonard (Fatman) Collins and wife Sue, Bill Collins and wife Cindy, all of Jonesville; three sisters, Geraldine Collins and husband Dennis, Mary Alice Fee and husband Mike, both of Jonesville, and Betty Janeway and husband Charles of Ewing, Va.; a loving companion of 13 years, Sherry "Bun" Gilliam and her son Josh; also a special cousin, Danny "Hog" Sweeney of Jonesville; and several nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Province Funeral Home in Jonesville, Va.
Services will be held at 8 p.m. today in the sanctuary of the funeral home with Rev. Steve Neff officiating.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Ewing Cemetery in Jonesville. Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home aKt 10:15 a.m. to go to the cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy "Bo" Collins, Willard Allen Collins, Amos and Grey Janeway, Jason Collins and Billy Lee Collins II, and honorary pallbearer, Danny (Hog) Sweeney.
