SOMETHING TO PONDER ABOUT DEAN WINCHESTER
I mean not to offend anyone - just something that I observed.....
Something to think about for Dean Winchester ---- There have been a few people who have commented that Dean doesn’t have his own story line or his own “thing” - here is something that came to mind that you may not have thought about for Dean…..
He has “kept a secret” from Sam (and sometimes the viewer) for every season of Supernatural. You are probably going what, no not every season well here is a review of the seasons, why I’ve come up with this - possibly when Sam (we the viewer) finds out about the secret
Season 1 -- There is a secret that we never find out about what it is - evidence Dean’s Bloody Eyes in Ep5 Bloody Mary. We never did find out what this secret was? Hey writers what the heck was his secret?
Season 2 - keeping the secret about “might have to kill Sam” that Dad told Dean in S2 Ep1 - Sam didn’t find out about this until Ep10 Hunted.
Season 3 - keeping the secret about the conditions of his deal to Sam - this was told to Sam at the end of Ep1.
Season 4 - keeping the secret of what Dean did in hell from Sam (the viewer) until Ep11 (Ep10 if you want to stretch it when he’s confessing to Anna).
Season 5 - keeping the secret of what happened when Dean went into the Future - in Ep4 Dean finds out that Sam said yes and that he was Lucifer’s Meat-suit but he never really told Sam what happened and why he called Sam at the end of that episode to start working together.
Season 6 - keeping the secret of what Sam did and the fact that he was walking around without a soul for over 1 year while his soul was still in hell in ep12. Sam finds out because of what Castiel revealed to Dean but he was going to keep that secret as long as he could.
Season 7 - keeping the secret from Sam of the fact that he killed Amy in Ep3 from Sam until Levi!Dean reveals the secret in ep6 and they meet up again in ep7.
Season 8 - keeping the secret from Sam about Benny and what happened in Purgatory. He never really went into many details but Sam finds out about Benny in ep5 it just doesn’t get really dealt with until Citizen Fang Ep9 and then in Ep10 when Castiel tells them to “stow their crap”
Season 9 - Keeping the secret from Sam - that he almost died and the only way to save Sam from Sam (and death was having an angel being his pacemaker.)
So as I’ve pointed out Dean has kept a secret from Sam in one way or another since they’ve been on the road again. We just have to wait to see what comes from this secret.
