While running the cash register at OfficeMax today, Leif came in. She co-owns (with her mother, Nancy) Orchid Lane, a clothing store where I used to work. They were just mean employers, and when I saw her I freaked out. She actually waved and said, "Hi." As sad as it is, I was scared.
I was also (quite literally) treated as though I were five years old today. I'm sorry, but that is incredibly disrespectful, and I don't put up with it.
In other news, I need to get a head CT or cat scan done to examine my brain. Apparently that's just a regular part of a "head work up" but I'm kind of terrified. Especially since those things are supposed to be like "Spock's coffin," as my mother says.
