Today at work, I asked a woman what she wanted to drink and she said "Hot tea," with high eyebrows, serious lips and no please.
"Sure, hot tea" I said, mustering up an cherry setnence cadence. I walked away to go get it. Then she starts barking at me "Hot tea, got it? Hot tea! Hot hot hot!" She wasn't being funny, she was yelling at me like I didn't understand her. She did not have a hearing problem or anything like that, she was just rude.
I almost snapped. Then I ran over in my uniform to Vulgamore because I was running five minutes late for a meeting. The professor forgot about me, and now I probably won't get to talk to her til next Friday.
I'm just drained.
