(no subject)
hi everybody!
well, the verdict is in: this new year is WAY better than the last.
1. we went to the Arsenal on Pico last night and while the first hour or so was really annoying, between having to wait outside and then not being able to get a drink before midnight, from 12:15 to 2 was totally kicking. I was watching drunk white guys with no rhythm dance and it struck me as the silliest thing i'd ever seen. I met a guy named, get this: Ross Vegas. I thought he said it as a joke name for his pub crawl business in Italy, but no, turns out that's really his name. I told him he should open a branch of his company in Tokyo. "Ahh yes, we going to Ross Vegas" tee hee
2. this morning, I am neither hung over, nor do I hate myself or my life. which is WAY better than Jan 1 2004. I feel stable and secure, like I made it through this year which was so uncertain, I'm certain I can make it thru the next.
ah well, off to the gym!
