So a (now ex) member of my WoW guild posted a long, hysterical screed against our GM, apparently over having been benched on the DPS rotation once. Not, like every week for a month, but once EVER. This is, I think, the best part:

"Now you might be confused (since you experience that most frequently) and am thinking to yourself right this second “what is this girl talking about?” Well beloved guild leader, I’d be happy to explain! The excuse everyone needs to be benched at some point and today is your turn stopped working…oh I don’t know, about 6 months ago. Did you really think I wouldn’t keep track of who goes and who sits on raids? There is a small group of people that never gets this benched treatment and some of them are non-officers. To me, that’s called the core raid team. Not the 2042742487113 members of your guild who you pretend to play happy family with. This small group of individuals are the best, and in my opinion, deserves to go to every raid. The rest can be rotated out since raiding with a frost mage who has 71 talents points in frost really brings home the cake. What about that priest who isn’t spec’ed for Inspiration? Real winner there. No wonder we’re burning through content like there is no tomorrow. Yes I understand they are your friends, and yes I know we are “casual”, they may be the children of Mother Theresa for all I care, they do not belong in your so called core raid team.

Now, excuse my sense of entitlement, but I feel I’ve done enough to be apart of that core raid team. I worked my ass off from the time I got accepted into your guild. I proved myself to be a strong healer in BC then turned around in WoTLK to prove I’m also a kick-ass DPS. So when you suddenly sit me out and give me that bullshit of an excuse will obviously lead me to question things, not to mention a slap in the face. So either my sense of logic is way out of line, or you need to rethink your definition of what that core raid team means. I’m going to vouch for the second one."

Hooooooly shit! I spent most of the morning laughing myself nauseous over TEH DRAMAZ. She was this weird, quiet little Chinese girl who never talked to anybody but her internet boyfriend, showed up to raid, did her job, and logged off. Apparently there was a big dose of paranoid mayhem lurking beneath the surface, waiting for a chance at an outlet. I for one am shocked. No, really, I actually AM shocked this time. I didn't know people still DID drama quits like this. That seems so...five years ago. She even said "slap in the face". SLAP IN THE FACE! Really? Anyway. It went on for a lot longer and got increasingly unhinged as she went along. Now I feel bad for her poor online boyfriend. He gets to put up with being known as "the psychobilly freakout girl's boyfriend". Awkwaaaaard...

Man. How's everybody else doing? =D
