UBER Fantastic Afternoon!!

So During choir I was marking or not singing cause my voice is angry at me, which is fine, I enjoy the repreve. Regardless, I was growing very sleepy and tired. But after choir, I have one more class, History 11. A nice enough class, i mean, i chose it over making my GPA higher with a grade substitution,, so it cant be that bad! I like the Proffessor, is what it boils down to. He is cool.
OHHH! I just remembered that before choir was good as well because Jeanette and I went out pricing for opera Workshop props! I got to know her a lot better and bought her lunch. we went to Sonic. good times.
But I digress. Oh. I dont have any music on. i should remedy that. brb. I'm installing the new winamp, good.
So anyway, My history class is cool. Whats even cooler than that you ask?? My Cool history class being CANCELED!!! WooT!!!
So I start walking home and call Adam (my Vocal friend) and ask him if he wants to shop with me for clothes to take to New York. (update if you don't know: I'm goign to New York to perform in Carnegie Hall next week. I see Phantom of the Opera on Friday the 17th) He says he cant, but thats fine. I get home and start doing stuff online. I see this alert telling me that I have a new e-mail message from frankD, the Radio DJ from KFSR I've been in contact with. He has been my main contact person for trying to get me a spot on the campus radio station. Over the past 2 weeks Ive spent quite a few hours in the studio recording stuff, getting ready. My first thought was, "Oh crap!! I need to tell him that I'm sending that critique over in just a few minutes. (On saturday, I spent 2 hours recording a demo that he and the station manager would listen to to determine who they wanted to sign on. He told me to listen to it and send in a critique, and I had not done that yet.)
So I was expecting a kick in the butt. what I got was this:

Gene --

Congratulations bro --- you made the cut. Call me whenever you can so that we can set up a couple more practice sessions, get paperwork worked out etc....

You'll do a great job, and i'm glad to have you on board..

Thanks for puttin' in the work..

respect -

HECK YES!!!
I was Elated.
To top that, I finally call this guy that Dr. Hamre recommended I call and I'm pretty sure I'm going to get a paid gig for singing twice a week at the church I can see from my apt. window. Its a $500.00 a semester gig, or $100 a month he said. So I go in tomorrow. interesting. I hope I get it.
Then, As I am checking my yahoo e-mail, I see one from Dr. Hamre that she sent to the Chamber Singers group about a Tenor. Here is the e-mail:

I am looking for one Tenor for a non-paid but high visibility gig at the
>Fresno Art Museum fundraiser at the Convention Center for 2000 people.
>
>It is singing Masquarade from Phantom with a Soprano.(already cast)
>
>Saturday, Feb. 25, 4:30-7:30pm
>
>Please include your evening and weekend conflicts between now and then so
>we can plan some rehearsals.
>
>If interested, please email
>
>Greg Lapp

So after a bit of e-mailing with Dr. Hanre, this is what I sent to Greg:

Greetings,
My name is Eugene Smith, and I am a 19 year
old Tenor Vocal Student at CSUF. I am HIGHLY
interested in this for multiple reasons!!! I just need
more information. IE, what key will it be sung in?
Masquerade (in its original key) is sung in C Major
with the high note being G. Not a problem. Then for
the interlude, it changes to D Flat Major (ALW's
Favorite Key!), back to C, then to E flat with the
high note now being a B flat. That, unfortunately for
me, IS a problem for me. Now, this is all assuming the
Tenor would be singing Melody.
So I guess my question is, what Key will it be in? And
what part will the Tenor be singing?
Thank you oh so much,
Respectfully,
Eugene Smith IV

P.S. Feel free to call me. My number is 831.596.3355.
If I don't answer, Please leave a message. Thank you
for your time.

Not bad, I think. lol. So anyway, I have NO idea if I'll get it, but it is still exciting!!!
So now I am all excited, and reaaallllly want an ipod. WANT! my dilema is to buy it now or wait, and whether or not to get it engraved from the apple people, ect and so on.
ROCKING DAY!!!!

Oh, and to continue:
Here is a picture I like. It is of Dale and I when we got back from a Jazz band Gig. We were changing, AND eating taco bell because we had a drama gig like, RIGHT after it. I miss Dale.
