Abrams is totally fucking with us now. The literal MAD scientist with a foil helmet is the first clue. I can see "Fringe" going down a totally different hole than what we expected. I can see the "X-Files" comparisons but they don't even out. "Fringe" is not a new "X-Files" just as "X-Files" isn't a new "Night Stalker".
I could go through so many geeky comparisons but I won't. I will leave you with this one question:
