Jayne's back, and he's in pretty bad shape. Hafta wait and see what the Doc says, though.
Andy and I set off away from the other teams, and it musta only been 15 or 20 minutes, though it seemed like an hour or more. There came Jayne, staggerin' down a walkway, looking like so much drunken go se - it's a wonder the station's security hadn't picked him up. (That woulda been shiny, though - Kaylee was monitoring their comms, so we'da known where he was.)
He near to collapsed when he saw us - I ran up and was able to catch him before he fell and broke somethin' else. Andy started to cry, but I ordered him to get Jayne's unbroken arm over his shoulder to help me drag him back to Serenity. He musta seen the look in my face, 'cause he did as I said and kept pretty quiet 'til we got back.
There's too much else, and we're all exhausted from this thing, none so much as Jayne. I'll write another entry after I've seen to my crew and got some rest myself.
