I also have to say that the way Luppi comes on to big-breasted women in this game is discomforting. I realize that he does make remarks about Rangiku's body in canon, but it wasn't hardly one of the first things that he said to her, and it wasn't nearly so crude as the things your Luppi has said. Luppi in canon is arrogant, and condescending, but not nearly so crass, and when that's one of the first things to come up in very short threads, it's- I'm sorry, I don't have another word for it- creepy. Not ICly, but OOCly. I personally felt deeply uncomfortable with the way he came on to Beatrice, because it shouldn't have happened that way. There's a difference between saying something suggestive and something that is outright crude, and maybe you're not aware that you're missing the mark.

As for the remarks on Rangiku thing, that was sort of during a fight, hitting on people you are about to gut is sort of weird. But given the setting, I feel like he can more freely harass or approach women with. I wasn't aware it was such a big thing though. I can pull it back if it really makes you uncomfortable personally.

I guess the issue I have with that is that 1) even though it's weird, if that's how you view it, it still wasn't in the same ballpark as the things Luppi's saying- he doesn't make any direct references to her breasts, for one thing, I looked at three different translations and they're all much less specific and much more subtle and 2) I see absolutely no indication from any of his interactions with the other characters that he would harass women. Approach them, yes, but even then it doesn't cease to be weird if the first thing in about three comments is something like that; especially since he didn't make a comment to her until we until their battle. More than just making me uncomfortable personally (and it's not just me, but whether they come forward and make their identities known is at their discretion), it's just OOC. Just because it's a sex game does not make it more okay to harass women if that's not IC. There are a lot of ways you could interpret what he said in the middle of a fight; saying it to discomfort her, etc., but one suggestive line in a situation like that =/= harass female characters. Do you see where I'm going with this? It feels like you've taken one comment, and extrapolated that into this pattern of behavior that feels incredibly off.
In short...yeah, it really does need to be pulled back.

If it was such an issue that it was personally disturbing and making others feel uncomfortable, I really would have appreciated someone saying something sooner, because the way you have presented makes it sound like it was a really important and big thing that needed touching upon. I had no idea that I was turning people off with the way I played him, but whether they make their identities known or not, if I'm doing something that's making people IRL squirm in their chairs, if I personally cause people discomfort, I would like to be told. I don't want to cause people to actually feel disgusted or anything, that would never be my intention.
I'm sorry, I'll work on it, really.

It's not on anybody to bring it to you, unfortunately, because some people don't feel like that's something they can say, or it's not something they're ready to say until they've thought about it for awhile. I didn't realize it was something that had come up in more than a thread with me until recently, and so I didn't say anything before because I wasn't about to make a big deal over one thread. Really, this is what the HMD is for, airing issues like this. I'm bringing it up because it's a problem that can be fixed without having to make a huge deal out of it- I've told you where I think it comes from on my end, I've explained exactly what makes me uncomfortable and why it makes me uncomfortable, and now you know. That's all. I didn't think you were aware, so I'm making you aware.

Well, sorry then. I'll try to improve on these then.
For real.
Thanks for bringing it up.
