I ALWAYS WORRY YOU THAT I'M BORING YOU. With Ivan and Cynthia, because he just wants to be nice to her. And sort of awkwardly trying to be charming and flirt without realizing that he's doing that because she's really just a friend...except not, because of the sex. Anyway, it's cute but it's just so normal that I feel it could just be boring to people, but I worry that with Ivan a lot because he's not incredibly out there in terms of personality.

You know line-facing at Hanna would just make him want to drag her around on some fun adventure.

Hai thar. :D I don't know canons. I am working on this by watching so much anime that my head hurts. But I know your characters, and love every single one. And here's why.

Spanner: He is always fun to thread with, regardless of the situation. Usually I panic when I join a game where another person has played my character before, because it means that their decisions and interactions will ultimately effect how my character develops when they hear about said decisions and interactions. But I'm GLAD that Spanner knew L already and turned out to be the kind of guy he'd get along with, regardless of who's playing him. Spanner's competency comes through in his posts, and his private nature and care with revealing information and trusting others makes his relationship with Walter really believable. And his relationship with L; I think that people with a certain type of personality just have a natural respect for each other, and the dynamic comes out really clearly with Spanner.

Ivan: My character finds him tedious, ignorant, and dim, while

I. Wow. How do I respond to this? I guess this is somewhat of a huge relief on several counts. I've been playing Spanner a long time, and there have been less and less occasions for him to be out playing tech guy? So I was desperately afraid that he was just some very chill, indifferent and aloof person without actually appearing to be anybody intelligent

Playing with you makes me happy. I know all the canons pretty well except Walter's, but each and every character is a joy to play with and I can't think of any of them that I don't want more CR from.

So you think Hanna is okay? He's one of the few I'm really worried about, and I sort of struggle with balancing the fact that he has a lot of depth with the fact that he's a bit of an extrovert and he can be totally bouncy and happy.

I do. A lot of it actually peeks through on the sly, very subtle. It's hard to really explain? It's like. It sort of...crops up when something pokes his buttons, and otherwise lies in wait?

I've threaded with all but two of your guys (and lovely lady XD), and I've enjoyed all of our threads. Hanna and Conrad both got me reading their comic (of which I'm really glad since it's really, insanely good) and Hanna is the right mix of fun, serious, dorky, and loyal/unwilling to give up to be spot on

Awww, thanks! I'm glad you like Lumi, because she has jackshit for canon, really, and so I'm always second guessing just about everything I do with her. As to Ivan, his typical response to abrasive dickweedness is to clam up, try to ignore it or just sort of fume (at least, that's the conclusion that I draw from this new comic) or just say "Fuck you" and walk off, like he did with the door. Buuuuuuut that doesn't mean it'll be impossible. He could probably get along with the Doctor, though (LOL everybody gets along with the Doctor), thought I'm sure Ivan would have a lot of "Are you kidding me?" or just feeling like an idiot, but that's okay. He has that response to L all the time and they manage.

But I don't WANT to be rid of you!
