[Oh noes! Warren Peace is loose!

No longer satisfied with secluding himself to his own room, he's wandering the halls of the Elegante, arms on fire, burning down everything he touches. He's scorching the walls, destroying the decorations, and just generally leaving destruction and fire in his wake. Ever so often, he'll let out an angry roar, usually ( Read more... )

[Alright, so sex hasn't helped him take the edge off in the least. If anything it just made it worse. So there's only one logical option left to him: drink, and drink a lot. That works for everything else so it's gotta work for this...right?

But there's a problem with his plan at the moment, and that problem is this walking fire hazard in the middle of the hallway.]

Joo know da phrase "cool off" be comin' to mind right 'bout now. Dat and "nevah play wid matches".

[Oh, so you think this is funny, ugly talking beasty?

You think he can control this? Just cool down whenever he wants? That'd certainly be convenient. Warren would certainly love for that to be the case but its not.

The teenager lets out an angry shout, then hurls a fireball in the Troll's direction.]

[Well he did until the kid decided to throw fireballs his way. Kevas ducks to the side, letting the fireball harmlessly pass by him.]

Alright mon, joo might wanna t'ink long and hard before joo do dat again because I be in no good mood and I got no problem introducin' joor face to da floor.

[Kevas doesn't look the least bit upset or afraid at the moment. In fact, he's smiling rather amiably, but there's a deadly edge to his voice that few on this boat get to hear.]

[Warren doesn't respond very well to threats.

In fact, he'd love to see the monster try and get near him.

He raises both arms over his head and concentrates. The flames climb higher and run together to form a large mass of fire above him. Once it's licking at the ceiling, Warren sweeps his arms down and propels the enormous ball of flame at Kevas.

Good luck dodging something that almost takes up the entire hallway.]

[See this? This is why he doesn't like mages. They're never in any control over their power. It always controls them.

Kevas does the only thing he can do. He throws himself down to thew floor and flattens himself as best he can. As the fireball passes over him he can easily feel its intense heat. It burns and singes his backside and the troll hisses in pain.

If that's the way this kid wants to do things then fine. He got his warning. Kevas rises to his feet and then disappears, creeping around behind the angry teen.]

[It doesn't control him.

It doesn't--

Okay, it totally does. Just--fff--ANGER!

Now--where'd the ugly troll go? Warren's familiar teleporters and speedsters. The second he loses sight of him, he turns on his heel around the other way.]

[Looks like the kid has some familiarity with rogues.

No big deal.

Kevas should still have a couple seconds before the kid spots his outline. Now, the powerful blow meant for his kidney is coming at his stomach.]

[Warren grunts as something hard and fasts connects with his stomach. His first instinct is to grab it, hold it close, let it burn with him because he knows that'll hurt.

The pain from the blow lasts longer than it usually does, while the air pushed out of his lungs as his organs jostled around from the impact takes its sweet time returning. Usually, Warren would have taken special notice any change in his second power over healing. Right now? Doesn't cross his mind past

That hurt.

Let's return the favor.]

[This kid's tougher than he looks. Most mages would have crumpled over from a blow like that.

Of course he that's the last thing on his mind when the kid grabs his arm. The searing pain shatters Kevas' veil of stealth bringing the troll back into view.

Kevas needs to break this kid's grip fast. Even trolls have a hard time healing from burns. Luckily he still has one free arm. If the kid wants to play rough then fine.

The troll drives his elbow toward the kid's face. Hope he's not too attached to the way it looks right now.]

[Rage has this nasty little tendency of giving the person experiencing it an unfortunate case of tunnel vision. Blinded by his need to inflict pain to his advisory, Warren takes that elbow in the face.

Now stunned, he lets go of Kevas and stumbles back. His nose is broken and bleeding, his brain is jumbled and for a precious few seconds, he goes out. Abruptly, the flames pouring from his arms sizzle to nothing, leaving behind thin trails of black smoke.]

[At this point, Kevas would normally grab whoever he's fighting in a choke hold until said person passes out. This time is different. This time. Kevas. Is. PISSED. That bastard messed his arm up good. It'll take weeks for him to heal from a burn that bad and it's sure to leave a scar afterward.

Kevas snarls and grabs the mage by the back of his head. He's going to make this bastard hurt! The troll pushes his head downward while Kevas drives his knee into the kid's face for another vicious blow.]

[He had about a second there to recover and, gosh darn it, he just didn't prioritize very well. Maybe it was the odd sensation of bleeding, I don't know.

Impact, pain, blood. That definitely loosened some teeth. New stars explode to join the first set that was just starting to fade. Warren makes a weak noise.

He grabs at Kevas' leg weakly. If it's close, he can burn it. If it's close, he can hurt it owowow.]

[Fire bad! Fire very bad! Kevas snarls in pain as his leg burns.

Kevas needs to end this before this kid deep fries him. He can't be thinking that clear from all those blows to the head. Might as well stick with that plan of attack. Kevas drops his elbow onto Warren's head. Hope he likes those stars cause more of them are coming.]

[The jolt passes from the back of his head down his spine. The flames die a second time as Warren drops limply to the floor.

They'd never allow this many headshots back at Disney.]

[Kevas watches as Warren hits the floor. His fist clench tightly. He wants to keep beating the kid. Grind his face across the floor until it looks more like ground meat than a face. It would be so easy right now and feel so go-what the hell is he thinking!?

Sure he might have deserved getting his ass kicked, but that's pushing it too damn far. Kevas has already won, there's no reason to mutilate him.

Just breathe. Calm down. He's not thinking straight. As the anger slowly ebbs away, he looks down at the unconscious kid again. He should probably haul him over to the clinic and then patch himself up. Dammit, he really wanted a drink too.]

[Better decide soon--he won't stay out for long. Warren's still got plenty of fuel to keep going. It's not yet time to rest.

First he regains some semblance of consciousness. As awareness starts creeping back in, and he starts pushing himself up off his stomach, his nose stops bleeding. The teenager groans then runs a hand over his mouth, wiping away the still hot blood.]

Ow.
